How to Manage Events and Event Attributes?
Events are data-driven descriptions of user behavior, serving as the foundation for user engagement and data analysis on the EngageLab MA platform. You can fully define events—including event name, description, grouping, and associated attributes—in the console.
Event Type Overview
MA categorizes events into three types, all viewable and manageable in the Metadata Management > Event Management page:
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Standard Events | Predefined by EngageLab with fixed event names and attributes. Data is automatically collected and reported by the SDK or generated through backend computation. |
| Recommended Events | Predefined by EngageLab with suggested triggering scenarios/timing. Developers report data via API calls. |
| Custom Events | Created and reported freely by developers based on business needs. Subject to quantity limits. |

You can perform add, edit, and delete operations on custom events according to your requirements, enabling flexible adaptation to various operational scenarios.
